What is the cost to access the exhibit hall and conference?
EXHIBIT HALL
The exhibit hall is FREE to qualified attendees* who register online prior to the day of the show. At-show registration is $50 per person.
CONFERENCE RATES
Full Conference (per person – includes seminars, meal voucher, exhibit hall access, on-floor workshops and networking reception)
$195 – through August 17, 2018 | $295 – after August 17, 2018
Individual Seminar (per person – includes access to chosen seminar exhibit hall access, on-floor workshops and networking reception)
$100 – through event date

* A qualified attendee is a professional (such as architect, designer, engineer, energy consultant, facility manager or other end user) in the position to specify, purchase or influence the purchase of architectural, commercial or high-design lighting solutions. All registrants are reviewed prior to being accepted to attend the event.

All registrants are reviewed prior to being accepted to attend the event.

What education opportunities are available?

LED Specifier Summit offers 8 seminars (60 minutes) in two time slot tracks, as well as three free on‑floor workshop sessions (30 minutes).

Do you offer education credits?

Sessions are submitted for qualifying education credits with these organizations:
AIA, BOMI, IDCEC, LA-CES and USGBC
(LCs may self-report for NCQLP LEUs)

When is the FREE networking reception and where will it be held?

The reception will be held in the exhibit hall from 5-6 pm on Tuesday, September 25.

I am having trouble with online registration. Who do I contact for assistance?

What time will registration open during the event?

Attendee registration will open at 7:00 am, the day of the show.

If I pre-register, will I be required to show a photo ID to receive my badge at registration?

Yes, you will be required to show a photo ID to pick up your badge.

What is your admission policy?

Rates apply to professionals in the position to buy or specify lighting solutions. Exhibit hall access for these qualified professionals is free with online registration prior to the event; $50 with registration the day of the event.

To protect our exhibiting companies, manufacturers of lighting products, controls or other lighting technologies who are not exhibitors must pay a non-exhibiting-manufacturer fee of $595 to be admitted to the show floor.

Children under the age of 16, including infants in arms or strollers, are not allowed on the show floor.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Cancellation requests for refunds must be received in writing by 8/31/2018, and will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. After this date, only substitutions will be accepted.

Who are LED Specifier Summit's recognized and distinguished faculty?

LED Specifier Summit Distinguished Faculty members and Recognized Faculty members have contributed to the advancement of professional education in the lighting industry through their presentations at Exponation’s lighting events, including LED Specifier Summit and LightShow West.

For LED Specifier Summit educators to qualify as Distinguished Faculty and Recognized Faculty members, their presentations must meet the high standards set by LED Specifier Summit and its educational committees and the expectations of LED Specifier Summit attendees as evidenced by high marks on speaker evaluations for:

1. Presenter’s Knowledge,
2. Presenter’s Effectiveness and
3. Presentation Content.


Where will I be able to register onsite?

Registration will be located near the Terrace A West entrance.

How do I get to the Navy Pier from the airport?

GO Airport Express offers airport shuttle services from both O’Hare and Midway Airports. Check their web site for shuttle rates.

Where can I park at Navy Pier and what is the cost?

Closest parking to the Navy Pier Terrace A West entrance is the East Parking Garage.

When can I register?

Online registration will open in August and will remain open through the end of the show. Onsite registration will be open both days at 8 a.m. If you would like to be notified when registration opens complete this form.
